Puryfing supplement from algae

Chlorella pyrenoidosa is a unicellular green micro-alga, 60% of which is protein. It contains 19 amino acids, including 8 essential to our diet since the body cannot itself make these. In addition, chlorella is a natural source of minerals, trace elements and vitamins and in particular vitamin B12. When the algae are ingested, the cell membranes change to allow the valuable contents of chlorella to pass through more easily.

Chlorella, an alga found in fresh water in Asia, is especially important because it contains a very high proportion of chlorophyl. It also combines readily with the heavy metals and other deleterious substances encountered in the environment, after which the combination is eliminated from the body.

Heavy metals refers to elements such as mercury, lead, cadmium, cobalt and tin. In recent years the pollution of the environment by heavy metals has increased many times; someone living in a city will be exposed to 500 to 1000 times as much pollution as before industrialisation. Heavy metals are taken in with food, with water, when breathing, with cigarette smoke and even with the fillings in the teeth.  When the amount of heavy metals increases in the body it is stored in the bones, liver, kidney and brain. Once there, it is extremely difficult for the body to eliminate these heavy metals and they can remain there for ten or twenty years; even small quantities can cause all sorts of health problems.

Chlorella can help remove the heavy metals from the body. Substances
found inside the algae can combine with the heavy metals and then be eliminated as waste product in the natural way. Thus chlorella can remove heavy metals from the body. In addition, chlorella provides support to the body's immune system.

The elimination of heavy metals can additionally be helped by taking in zinc, selenium, milk thistle and vitamins C and E at the same time. Taking chlorella is also an excellent preventive measure immediately after having teeth filled with amalgam containing mercury.
